Following the beach clean up on Saturday, Nov 18th, we started building up our burlap bag barrier! This involved filling up burlap bags with the crushed sand and placing them in the water to create a storm barrier. These will protect the area behind it, and allow it to collect sediment, allowing the mangrove propagules to grow and spread.
